House Update: One Week until Closing
It's official! We close on our house in one week! I can't believe how fast this whole process has gone. Since we don't have much time until we pack up and move again, David and I decided to take Ezra and go visit the new house one last time before it's complete. It seems so surreal. It's almost felt like mini vacations each time we've gone, but now there is this realization setting in that we won't be visitors anymore. I think this last visit was the perfect way for us to mentally transition from "won't this be nice in the future" to "this is home now."
Lucky us, as we were driving to our new neighborhood we saw that the farmer's market was open. The weather is finally getting cold here, so we decided to take the opportunity to stop in for some local coffee and stroll through the vegetable stalls. There is also a huge field next to the market, so Ezra had a blast running around and exploring.
It's been a little over 3 months since we sold our old home and moved into a townhouse, but I honestly wouldn't trade this experience for anything else in the world. I feel like we've grown closer as a family through all of the challenges, setbacks, and accomplishments and I can't wait to start new memories in the new place.
